Really this could and is any initiative or information, that is profiled, not profit but for the wider good or awareness of the community...eg
- Charities information and awareness raising eg Resolve Mediation Service, Making Space have both been featured recently
- RAF low flying justifications
- Cumbria Police local "Bench Project"...eg PC Simone Cookson came into the studio to tell us about a recent Crime and Disorder Reduction Unit initiative with Underley School
- NHS North West...Healthier Horizons initiative. Two major initiatives by NHS North West and community radio stations across the North West worked together to deliver the key messages of the campaigns
Clearly there is more that we can do... with your help
Remember also that we are part of a wider network of community stations not just across the North West but across the country...!!! Think about the implications of that when you want to get a message across
