First Responder Fund Raising and Social Evening at Mansergh
Janet and Nigel Bradshaw would like to invite you to come along to a Fund Raising and Social Evening at The Hollins, Mansergh Friday 21st August from 7.30pm Kirkby Lonsdale First Responders are endeavouring to raise money so that a First Responders kit may be sited in Mansergh. First Responders are trained volunteers who give initial emergency support while the ambulance is en route. In the case of an emergency call, where the patient is suffering from a suspected heart attack or breathing difficulties, every minute is critical. Sometimes patients may need oxygen or the use of a defibrillator may be necessary to save a life. As well as assisting the patient, they also help, reassure, support and advise relatives and friends. The aims are to raise enough money to cover the purchase of this vital equipment and also to recruit more First Responders for this area. They need to raise just under £1000 - which includes £875 for the defibrillator. Mansergh residents Janet Bradshaw (73722) and Jool
