Kirkby Lonsdale Art Society Annual Show
Kirkby Lonsdale Art Society will be having its annual show every day between 1.00pm and 5.00pm from Saturday the 24th July to Friday the 30th July. Please note that this year it will be in the Royal Barn (behind The Royal Hotel) Kirby Lonsdale

High Head Green Gathering @ Plumpton

Party in the Park
Kirkby Lonsdale Methodist Church is celebrating the 175th Anniversary of it's opening by running a Party in the Park on Sunday 27th June from 2pm to 5pm in Kirkby Lonsdlae Playing Fields (opposite the Institute, behind the Fire Station). There'll be free entry, free refreshments, and free activities for all the family. The Kirkby Lonsadale Brass Band will be playing throughout the afternoon and tgoether with a Mountain Bike Display Team, face painting and sideshows and games for all ages. Do come and join us to celebrate this anniversary.

Bendrigg Trust & Old Hutton School Summer Fete, 10k Road Race & Fun Run
We are holding our annual Summer Fete, 10k Road Race and Fun Run here at Bendrigg on Saturday 12th June. The fun starts at 1.30 pm and there will be stalls, games, bouncy castle,refreshments and activities for all the family. One of the highlights of the day is our 10k road race, which starts at 2.00pm, with the 2 mile fun-run at 2.10pm. The day is a great opportunity to sample the activities we provide for our visiting groups. Have a go at abseiling or try our new indoor cave system or ropes course,our aerial runway and tube slide. Killington Sports Ceilidh

NEW TO YOU SALE
11am -1pm on Sunday 23rd May at St Marys Primary School. The sale is for lightly used children's clothing, toys/books, outdoor play equipment, nursery equipment and maternity clothing. Come along and grab a bargain or clear out and sell. Goods to sell can be dropped off between 9.30am and 10.30am. Each item needs to be labelled with the sellers initials and the price wanted for the item. Unsold items need to be collected by 1pm. Profits are split 70% to the seller and 30% to Toddler Group. apprecaited. Cake stall on the day.Please help to support this event if you can, to raise funds for equipment for the toddler and nursery room.

Blues with a sting...by the Swarm
