Chris Coull Quartet— plus special guest Mike Hall. A reunion of Chris, on trumpet and flugel horn, pianist Dennis Freedman, and the original rhythm section: Rob Steels, double bass, and Jack Davies, drums, plus Mike Hall, tenor sax playing the music from the era of Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk et al
This will be a great and swinging occasion, not to be missed. Doors and Bar open at 7.30pm, music from 8 pm.

My Brilliant Divorce- comedy theatre at Hornby Institute
My Brilliant Divorce by Geraldine Aron on Friday 3rd September. This one woman comedy is the hilarious but poignant story of Angela Lipsky – who has recently been deserted by her accountant husband for a younger model. A lively monologue this was a great success for Dawn French… Unfortunately we can’t promise Dawn but we’re sure it will be an enjoyable evening. Presented by Leeds Theatre Touring Company. Tickets £7.50 (£6.50 if purchased by Friday 27th August.)
Lancashire Comedian Phil Coollive at Hornby Institute
Lancashire Comedian Phil Cool will be live at Hornby Institute on Friday 17th September. Having entertained us a couple of years ago with folk music colleague Ken Nicol, Phil has now returned to his stand-up comic roots. Tickets £10 now available from the Institute Tel 015242 22227
