One stop shop in Kendal?
SLDC has this week started a period of consultation with the residents of Kendal to find out what they think about a One Stop Shop.
A One Stop Shop is a place where members of the public can visit to do all their business with a number of organisations.
As well as South Lakeland District Council, the One Stop Shop could also house other local organisations such as Cumbria County Council, Cumbria Police, Kendal Town Council, Age UK (Age Concern), Job Centre Plus and healthcare professionals.
The questionnaire is available from South Lakeland House in Kendal, Kendal Town Council and Kendal Library in paper format and you can also complete the survey online via the council’s website at www.southlakeland.gov.uk
